Don't forget Faora and not one but two people to have played Deadpool.

Doubt it, since this was not a film from Warner Bros. Jones has been a great actor for years, as has Oldman. Costner is usually solid. I think it has more to do with just being a good cast.

probably not... If I had to guess I'd wager
- Gadot came cheep; until Dawn of Justice opened she was what 5th Female in a random Fast/Furious movie
- Reynolds will take almost any job that fits his schedule, regardless of genre; and more than once admits to taking jobs that let him work with people he likes/admires
- Oldman and Jones are at the point where studios will give them 3rd lead pay for a week's worth of work (just so they can advertise Jones/Oldman they can almost literally phone in their work
- Costner's a bit Trickier... some of his work has been panned, which leads to him getting over looked... while at his age "Male Lead" is out of his range so he'll take what he can get; and they'll probably low ball his opening offer...

Most of his work the last few years (save for the underwhelming 3 Days to Kill and Draft Day in 2014; have been supporting/Mentor roles... and outside of them the last movie I saw pitched as 'A Kevin Costner Movie"/ 'Starring Kevin Costner' was 2008's Swing Vote

it was just a confluence of luck that found them all available

Buy I've noticed that the last 5 years or so have seemed to make the 'Six Degrees of Kevin Bacon' parlor game easier... not sure if actors asking to work with friends, or having more sway in casting but you see more movies with 'star clusters'

I found out about the movie by accident (looking for show times for Civil War) and the poster caught my eye (Coster looking un-Costner like) and upon seeing the page I'm going down the cast list, and spotting all the people you cite in the headline, and more, to the point I think their were only 3 names/faces on the entire cast list (as it appears at the time of my posting) that I couldn't place...

maybe lol. guess what happens if wonder woman marry deadpool
