does this have religious undertones

i mean at first i thought i was just thinking way too much into it, but then in the final episode when it came to the parrot and i was like what ,now bear with me i feel i'm overreaching and overthinking too much ,and by no mean i think the series is about that ,but somehow i feel its there in the backround of the writing or something

look at it this way, first the belittling religious people as dumb a little (wich gets thrown a lot here almost every person olive says is dumb has a tie to religion somehow ) she says her husband is dumb ,then get in third episode his mother was religious pious judgmental ..

then in the fourth episode the parrot starts "judging" anyone that says curse words ,and he is set up high overlooking her and "judging" her same as the men who thought him(who is fundemental christian) ,

then you get the kids who has two different dads (plus third one coming) but get the same one paying the bills and they live same house (big three religions?)

again aparently in the bible it says
Then God said, “Let us make man in our image, after our likeness. And let them have dominion over the fish of the sea and over the birds of the heavens.”
Matthew 5:1-48 ESV /

and olive says like twice i will stink like fish after going to see her son (so the men are the religious and they have dominion over them again with the judgment and the looking high above same as the bird)

with the hostage situation you get the camera focusing on the pantyhose stuck to one of the robbers for a long time , also when the nurse starts saying "bible" things xd the robber starts grunting kind of set up like some exorcisms if you look at it differently , when the robber tries to tape the mouth of the nurse (wich was praying ) the doc says she wont be able to breath but we see nothing of that later , so is it like saying without her belief she wont be able to live

the snake gets thrown a lot ; snake in her delusion with the dead guy plus kid throwing snake like(apple skin) in face of little girl and telling heer its a garden snake (snake in eden garden)

the tulip at the end (she gives the guy) is symbolic in christianity apparently T -Total depravity U - Unconditional Election L - Limited Atonement I - Irresistible Grace P - Perseverance of the Saints Post-Mortem T.U.L.I.P

the gardening wich runs through the whole miniseries and in the bible apparently The four gardens include
Eden – The Garden of Sin , Gethsemane – The Garden of Suffering , Golgotha – The Garden of Victory , and Paradise – The Garden of Eternal Life
Each garden also serves a particular role in God’s eternal plan for mankind.

does each episode refers to one garden ?

first sin :both mcs struggle with sin in out of lock relationships

second sufereing: the potential for mcs one dies the other marries ,plus the child leaving the "nest" +loneliness, bitterness...

third victory : “O Death, where is your sting? O Hades, where is your victory?” 1 Corinthians 15:55 , McDormand defeintly thinks she will die with her husband when she sleeps next to him ,hence the look of confusion/frustration when she wakes up ;conquering death

fourth Paradise: Eternal Life :in the woods (paradise?) the kids allow her to stay but she has to not litter (suicide) also The word “paradise” also means the garden of delight ,olive doesnt kill herself and by the end olive doesnt even wanna leave this world and you even get the smile of delight on her face

well i might be overthinking this and everything is just me overreaching but this series defenitly gave me some religious vibes ,though i liked it very much and loved the performances (were brilliant) and in no way i think all this is the purpose ,but i do feel like they are there in the backround ,hopefully someone takes my points and either takes them down and shatters them ,or add to fortify my theori ,i'm looking forward to wichever happens

plz respond about my points ,and dont bother with my grammar ,i'm not a native speaker, know its no excuse but honestly even if i were i wouldn care much since this isnt an essay or a test or whatever
