I hate to say it, but I have to say part of it is due to Turkish voters, the other part is due to Australian voters. This film has really been hyped up by the Australian media, and I suppose Australians are happy to see a film made here that isn't absolutely terrible, so they'll give it a 10 for that alone.
It's telling that US voters gave it low ratings. I'm not suggesting that American voters have better taste than voters of another nationality, but that have no reason to be biased towards this film. Also, Rotten Tomatoes has given the film reasonably positive reviews (79% positive with an average rating of 6.8), but nothing particularly enthusiastic.
