How could Bonnet do that?
I couldnt even get a hardon if I m royally pissed off and more likely to smash someone's face instead of some pussy. Sure he wanted to spite her by doing that but its not quite possible to get it up to do the deed.

shareAgree.
I find it ridiculous in series and films sometimes, where sex is done and dusted in mere moments during a scene where it might not even have been part of it, but is obviously used to convey some characterisation or other point. The whore he was keeping temporarily there must be like a damp sponge 24/7 (and a nympho as she seemed to like it) and Bonnet himself must be able to flick a switch and diddle anything at the drop of a hat (although he did seem to ‘like’ that particular whore, shown in one scene previously).
I found Bonnet’s character all over the place, especially whilst he was holding Bree captive. I couldn’t quite believe him; was he really stupid? Was she really stupid? I mean, they were both playing the fool, but there didn’t seem to be enough body or feeling in it for me; no asides from him especially, no moments where we could see him alone, a glance, a wicked smile etc to let you know it was all false. It seems really long winded of him to play her like that too - and he didn’t even try have sex with her again - only to sell her off to someone else. He didn’t seem a deep enough character to even ‘get off’ on that.
I also found his storyline arc go a tad too quickly, because suddenly, he’s back, conniving, then he has her, then he is captured and dead.
nah , they'd been after him for as long as i can remember!
The next thing though , with Claire being taken by Mr. New bad guy ...
I thought theres no way this is getting resolved in 1 or 2 eps when the series ends .... but they did!
now *that* was rushed!
I don’t know, it just didn’t feel as ominous and all consuming as the baddie that was Black Jack. Sure, Bonnet became an enemy to pursue but he didn’t seem like the same kind of nemesis at all, although he did seem powerful in his own ways he didn’t have the same authority as Captain Randall.
The new baddie - those a**hole people from that village....I thought they were a serious nail in their shoe, but then totally that revengeful one went total crazy burning the still and kidnapping (and worse) Claire. I guess the speed of Jamie’s own revenge was because they weren’t far away and they were easier to track. I also don’t think the man was as wiley or clever as Bonnet, he was just base and simple in his revenge honour system. So glad Marsali got rid of him!
