This show is just a bunch of feminist junk.

Modern third wave feminist goes back in time and tells everyone they're wrong about everything. And men are all evil unless they submit to women. The only good thing about this show is the music.
Just thought I'd save people some time.

The TV show is based on a romance book series. A good primer on what women want in a man since it's based on fantasy: sensitivity; strength, honesty; romance; charm; adventure; intelligence; morality; handsome; humor, etc.

Fun show if not taken too seriously.

Well she's hot and gets naked a lot, so we all win.

I personally feel this is aimed to push the whole vaccine thing.

That's possibly one of the most ridiculous comments I've seen here!

This show is based on a book series. There are currently 8 novels (between 500 & 1100 pages each), with a 9th due out later this year. There are novellas, short stories and spinoff books.

But, sure, the whole thing is just a conspiracy to push vaccines.

That's hilarious!

Feminist or not, a lot of women still get their asses whipped on this show.

Not feminist. Chick. Big difference.

To be clear, this is a reply to the dimwit befus, who must be a pal to buffheadus.

Feminism didn't save Claire from an ass-beating by Jamie. It's one reason I hated the first book so much. I mean, she tries going home, gets caught, put her husband in danger by having to rescue her from his sworn enemy, when it was impossible for her to rescue herself, she can't tell him why she disobeyed his order to hide and not get caught by the British, and he beats her because it's expected of him by his men, and the punishment for a man would have been much worse.

Frankly, if I had been in Claire's position, I wouldn't have tried to run away, I would have found a smarter way to get back to the stones, and I would never have let Jamie beat me. He would have regretted being born if he tried beating me with a strap.

Feminism also didn't save Geilis Duncan from getting arrested for witchcraft.
