I don't think they're going to finish the book ...
Just watched Episode 412, and it just seems like there's too much left to do. Can they really finish it all next week?
shareI think I said the same thing last season and then was very pleasantly surprised by the season finale. Maybe they didn't include everything in the book, but they included the most important things and did them very well.
Last night's episode was incredible! There were a couple of things here and there that weren't included, but overall they did a fabulous job of bringing closure on the stories and giving a little moral for next season.
Ug, droughlander, here we come. I really need to find some other book series to read in the meantime.

shareJamie and Claire made it back to River Run in time for Bree to have the baby. The spent time there before going back to Fraser's Ridge. Roger went back to the stones and considered going back to his time. We get to hear his internal debate. He makes his way to Fraser's Ridge, but he had lost one of his shoes (before he even got to the Mohawk Village), so one of his feet is severely injured. Claire helps take care of that (surgery with no anesthesia) with Bree by his side. There's time for all of the relationships to improve. Eventually the family makes its way back to River Run for the Gathering, which is what is going on when the Fiery Cross opens.
There's probably a lot more, but that's just what I remember.
