I Think Jamie DOES Have the Right...

Bree told him that he didn't have the right to be more angry over the Roger situation. I can understand her being upset, but Jamie nearly beat Roger to death because he was given the wrong information. That give him the right to be a might peeved. He has killed in battle and he accepts it, but I don't think he takes it lightly. There is no anger at Lizzie for fingering Roger as the rapist. There is no anger at Bree and Claire for not telling Jamie it was Bonnet. Given the situation, I wouldn't "put the blame" on anybody. But to make Jamie the bad guy is just wrong.

I agree. There is plenty of reason for a lot of people to be angry.

Though its a huge misunderstanding, him not telling them what he had done to the "alleged rapist" and lied about his hand injury make the matter worse. If he had told Claire later that day about what he had done they might have a chance to rescue Roger before he gets too far . I believe thats is prob why they were so mad because he didnt told them about it and lie about his hurt hand. If Bree didnt found out from Lizzie they will never know what happened to Roger.

I think Jamie's actions were in part caused by Bre not telling Elsie her servant about who it was that hurt her. Then too maybe the servant should have told Bre that she saw the man she thought did the deed. So that all led to Jamie going after the wrong guy. I can't fault Jamie so much and I certainly understand him being angry over the who situation. I don't fully understand Bre giving him and Ian such a hard time over it given what they thought they knew, as they meant to defend her from the man they thought was coming back to go after her.

Perhaps Jamie should suggest to Claire she lean Bree over the fence rail and give her some good Scottish parenting. LOL

Bree’s just mad that they hurt Roger. She is suddenly realizing that, not only did he travel 200 years for her, he also did not go back to Scotland like she first thought. He also, despite their fight, traveled to Fraser’s Ridge just for her. He does love her, maybe more than she realize before, and she is overwhelmed with anger and how he was treated.

Jamie almost killed Roger, and Ian sold him to the Mohawks. It’s kind a hard to get past that and see the logic and the love behind what they were doing. I suspect she will see it in time, but I can’t really blame her for being mad right now.

And Lizzie, well, she saw what she saw, and Bree was not giving her any more information. I don’t blame Bree for not wanting to talk to Lizzie, but I can’t really blame Lizzie either.

Ziggy, I do agree that Bre should be angry but I think she's just s upset with how things played out as she is angry with Jamie and Ian. As you say, realizing that she still loves Roger and with him coming back to find her. That all had to be a hearth wrenching blow and then to find out what Jamie and Ian did as they had wrong info on who he was.

No she has the right to be more pissed. The guy she loves had been beaten up and sold as a slave then she had been called a lying slut because Jamie was going over in his head that he beat a man to a pulp over her attack. She'd kept her mouth shut about it being Bonnet to ensure that Janie wouldn't blame himself for her attack but when threw the chair

Well it had stopped being about her rape and more about his hurt pride and his hypocrisy because he didn't have all the facts. Mind he had talked to Bree about how killing her rapist wouldn't make it better for her.
She's the one with the right to be a little more ticked off in that situation. She got violated and the man she cares for got hurt for it when Jamie didn't need to beat him and could have done something else like bring him to Bree to ask if she wanted the vengeance they had talked about earlier.

Well it was revealed in the recent episode that what Jamie said about her lying about being rape was what really hurt her.

Fishpan, and WHY didn't Jamie have all the facts? Because Bree wasn't forthcoming. The one Bree should be maddest at is herself. Have you ever tried to do something that was right, and it ended up backfiring hurting someone? I have. And I had no one to blame but myself, because I was the one who set the wheels in motion that caused that end. She forgave Lizzie for fingering Roger as the rapist. Jamie and Ian deserve the same.

Oh and did Jamie actually ask her who did it? What they looked like? Claire also said that Bree was raped after Roger MacKenzie left. Lizzie fingered Roger by calling him MacKenzie. Jamie then went out there out of a sense of vengeance. Something that wouldn't really help Bree, something he sort of counselled Bree against. But what does he do he beats the crap out of the guy who he thinks attacked her, protecting her honour, her virtue, her pride. Sorry those are things she had the right to decide about, she has the right to decide if the guy gets beaten not Jamie.

Plus slavery? Selling anyone into slavery is a dick move, even if like Ian said they are honourable and eventually adopt the person into the tribe. Though if he thought Roger was a rapist why exactly did he sell him to a bunch of people that according to Ian treat their slaves nicely?

Nothing was changed she didnt tell him all the details due to the traumatic experience besides she just got to know Jamie recently.

Anyway that doesnt mean Jamie could just jump to conclusion and insinuate that she lied about the rape.

A whole lot of new details were added which made it sound like her story had changed. I don't know if you have kids, but when their stories start to change, or suddenly, after the fact they start adding details, its a good indicator that prevarication may be involved.

Since Jamie doesnt know the whole story , he shouldnt have said those words. He could have just demand she tell him the whole story and ask who raped her if he has any doubt.

Yeah , that was the stand out thing that bree was angry about , not all the other angles discussed above
