Was looking forward to watching this after hearing good things, but it was honestly pretty bad. Horrible writing, bad acting, lame jokes, and don't even get me started on the elves. But Kurt Russell was awesome and I enjoyed his spin on the Santa character. Without him this movie would've been complete shit.
shareI wouldn't go as far as saying its bad but Russell definitely carries the film. Every other actor in this is mediocre at best. I still thought overall it was a fun movie though.
shareEh I thought the kids and the two main cops were pretty good in the movie. Good enough for what the movie is supposed to be anyways which is enough for me. I just watched it again and I loved it. Now on to the sequel.

shareI think that Kurt Russell looks too much like an aging country singer in this. It makes it difficult for me to really accept him as Santa.
But great film poster art. I reckon this film has the best Christmas film poster that I have seen for a long time.
Kurt/Santa wasn't as forgettable, yea. I do remember, the set designs felt authentically decorated, unlike some of the Hallmark type movies. So there's that.
