I have been disturbed for days...

That corset torture scene really, really bothered me for some reason.

The torture itself had me cringing and literally sweating. What made it all the more effective was the acting of the victim. Her agony was very convincing and painful to watch.

Also what it made it so horrible was that she actually seemed like a sweet girl. I was quite chilled at how merciless the girls were with her. Maybe not so much the blond but the brunette in particular.

It was just cruel. Having a hard time getting it out of my head. It was horrible watching those ropes wrap around the hydraulic wires, tighten and strain, then stop and reverse, only to continue turning and tightening. My God. Every inch of rope that went into that machine was another inch of corset string being pulled...past the point where the poor girl's rib cage is already shattered.

I've seen a lot of horror films and torture scenes and this one just really, really got to me. So kudos to the creative team and actors behind that sequence.
