Jessie Heisenberg did nothing wrong

It was the directors choice to play the character like that

lol

Jessie As Lex Luthor is literally one of if not the worst Miscast in CBM History....

He was Universally Hated and Mocked in The role....

even in The few good reviews, nearly all of the singled Him out as being awful and A Miscast....

I'm sure your right, Snyder obviously added to the awfulness of the character but Jessie was DOOMED from the start.....thats probably why He Played Luthor's Son instead of Luthor himself....

I got to believe The Studio and even Snyder himself knew, Jessie may be awful and they wanted to give themselves and out, Had BvS not been a disaster all around, I'm sure Lex Luthor would have been recast in sequels and It would have been revealed The real Lex Luthor wasnt actually dead...

Your more than within your right to Like Jessie in The role, everyone has their own opinions, but just dont say it like its a fact or even A remotely shared opinion....

Its like a 97/3 % that Jessie was awful....lol I mean my god, WB literally had to release A completely different cut of the film on Blu Ray just so everyone could finally understand Lex's motives and the full Plot...

lol The final scene of BvS were Lex is Insanely telling Batman "The Bell has been rung" is one of the mocked scenes in CBM history...

again, I'm sure had this movie had a better director, Jessie could have played the part slightly better....But theres no getting around, He was disastrously wrong for The role and could have never been good...

I swear the "Tagline" for the entire DCEU should be "oh ya everyone said Heath Ledger was a terrible casting choice, how'd that turn out"....

Because I've never seen a movie or franchise make such Odd casting that were met with such universally Hatred....

I was on The BvS boards from 2013 to 2016 on IMDB....I was there everytime a major casting happened...

Affleck's Casting was Met with Disbelief and angry...Jessie's casting was met with "WTF" and "OMG what are they thinking"(I even remember many "We wanted Heisenberg NOT Eisenberg , which were clever threads expressing anger that Bryan Cranston wasnt cast as Lex)

Gadot's casting was Met with near Hatred

Ironically The Only DCEU casting that was Met with good press was Leto as Joker(which turned out to be an Epic failure when Leto gave one of the worst performances ever, a performance so awful the director literally had to edit nearly every scene he was in)

and I swear, every single time WB announce these weird casting decisions, When Affleck's Casting was met with Dozens on online petitions demanding he be recast..We got HUNDREDS of "oh ya everyone said Heath Ledger was a terrible casting choice, how'd that turn out" threads

When everyone was literally Stumped and in a state of disbelief at The Eisenberg casting of Lex....We got Hundreds of "oh ya everyone said Heath Ledger was a terrible casting choice, how'd that turn out" threads

When Gadot's casting was met with Laughter, we got hundreds of "oh ya everyone said Heath Ledger was a terrible casting choice, how'd that turn out" threads

Looking back now, we can officiall say, The Majority of these casting were awful, The Lone good was Gadot

Affleck was Literally BROKEN by BvS...we all remember the "Sad Affleck" meme's....Basically the movie was so awful, He wanted out of the role immediately after seeing the film, which resulted in a completely Heartless and pathetic performance in JL......IMO Affleck was actually very good in BvS(one of the very few good things about the movie) but given that Affleck's career immediately went from an all time high before the casting to now once again being in the dumps after the casting, wheres he's now drinking, Made his first Bad Movie as a director and Has been expressing he wants out of The role of Batman since BvS was released, Considering WB cast him to Be "the DCEU's Robert Downy JR".....Given all these things The Affleck casting as Batman as been a colossal failure.....

Eisenberg as Lex....simply is right now the worst casting in CBM movie history...again even the few people who like the movie, specifically noted he was terrible...

Leto as Joker, Turned out to be a 1 and done, when Leto gave a Performance so awful He had to be almost completely edited of the film...were now already on a reboot and The role has been recast.

Its also worth noting, I think we can conclude Cavill as Superman was a failure as well....In all 3 of his DCEU films/appearances He was met with a Decisive reaction, No where near The Universally hated as Eisenberg, But Its accurate to say its been split 50/50 with Cavll as Superman....People just plain didnt like his character in MOS, didnt like him killing, didnt like his depressing character, In BvS he was completely JOYLESS and as UN-FUN as a character could possible be...In JL His character was completely rewritten and reshot, resulting in A "Happy" superman that didnt fit the movies tone and unfortunately will be remembered most for one of the biggest creative failures in HOLLYWOOD history in "Mustache-gate"....something so Absurd and Embarrassing its almost impossible to imagine this could happen in this day and age, Cavil's Superman was Brutally MOCKED in JL....

were now at a point where WB isnt even considering making a Superman film with cavil in The role, because they dont feel it can succeed with The Baggage of Cavil's 3 Superman films...instead they are focusing on Supergirl

Bottom line....from 2013 to 2016....WB and snyder made casting decision that were not only odd, but were met with Angry and Hatred....DC fans relentlessly defended the decisions in the only way they could...."oh ya everyone said Heath Ledger was a terrible casting choice, how'd that turn out"

Looking Back, We now known The casting Choices for the most part "Turned out" to be Awful, Literally Career killing, and Franchise KILLING Miscasts....

and Eisenberg as Luthor was the worst of All

I agree that Eisenberg's version of Lex Luther was terrible but I don't blame the actor. I blame the way the character was written by the script makers. A more reserved, measured, contemplative Luther would have been a role Eisenberg could have pulled off in good fashion. That's a Lex I would believe, a thinking man's villain. Instead Warner Bros thinks every villain since Nicholson's/Ledger's Jokers, should be "Joker-like" in their portrayal. Lex Luther is about as different from the Joker as Peanut Butter is to Ketchup. There's no comparison, they are complete different types of villains and have completely different motivations. They made Eisenberg's Luther a caricature of a demented madman, basically they made him into Superman's Joker.

everything you say is pure truth...

He misread the script notes, when they wrote they were doing an "artistic Lex", he thought it said an "autistic Lex".
