It's like "Kristy" and just as good.
Very different endings though, but mostly thanks to the actresses they both work.

I Really Enjoyed Kristy!! Too!!!
shareLast night I watched Kristy and tonight I watched Last Shift, and I have to say that I thoroughly enjoyed both of them. Normally I disregard the obscure B-rated horror that Netflix recommends to me but I gave these two a chance and I'm so glad I did. They were such pleasant surprises.
shareI don't think they're much alike. Both feature tough women basically alone in a dangerous situation, but the situations are very different.
I thought Kristy was a stinker, very stupid and painfully predictable, so that's just as well. This, I liked a lot, and it kept me guessing and in suspense.
"I hate everyone. Can we go now?"
I have to agree with the post above. Kristy was ridiculous. That scene where her boyfriend comes back and the killer girl was wearing her hat was so obvious that he would be killed. He was SOOO confused about which was his girlfriend. There were other predictable scenes like that as well. I also found that dancing in the hallway scene very annoying and it turned me off to the character. Yea, I know she was alone in a big dormitory and having fun. Last Shift was a little more interesting but neither was really that good.

Based on recommendations I saw here, I checked out Kristy on Netflix. I think the budget is 10x bigger and it shows. Kristy was really good for what it was, and I enjoyed it a lot more than Last Shift.
