.....the Scottish movie Let Us Prey? http://www.imdb.com/title/tt3148348/ I watched it a couple weeks ago. It was good. Then I read the synopsis of Last Shift and it sounded the same except for the "Supernatural" part...but kind of like it..hmmmm doesn't mention it is being a remake.
shareThey didn't have too much in common aside from being set in a police station during the middle of the night. I also thought they would be basically the same but they are very, very different. Last Shift is more of a ghost story with some psychological elements sprinkled here and there.
shareLet us prey had other officers in it, also. To me, the stories were similar with it being the woman's first night on the job with a voilent backstory in their lives that somehow ties them to the station.

Also Let us Prey wasn't nearly as good as Last Shift. This movie was much better.
No. Like others said above, the police-station night setting is the only thing similar. That movie, which I'm watching now, has an ensemble cast, a very different mood, and a wholly different plot.
It's okay. I thought Last Shift was quite a lot better, but to be fair to Let Us Prey, they're not really comparable.
