Weird time to hang up

When she was on her cell phone with the cop at the other station, and he started telling her that weird things started happening at the station, I would've been thinking "finally I'm getting some helpful information." And then she hung up on him. I know it was because a picture appeared in the doorway, but that was hardly the first weird thing she had seen at that point, I don't think she needed to check it out immediately.

I know. I was confused that she just hung up and stayed there. She had so many opportunities to leave but just stayed

Exactly what I was thinking, you're on the phone with a real, live human being and you're like "gotta go"

Tf?

I'm not saying it was logical but it wasn't just a random picture, it was a picture of her father. They'd never briefed her on what had happened to him and the picture showed his corpse.

The movie often goes out of its way to show how much he means to her and the effect the very mention of his name has on her; so after having been so thoroughly stablished, it actually made sense.
