How do you see the show ending? (Potential Spoilers)

How do you see the show ending and what is your perfect ending? I would love it if Mary became more powerful then any other witches and she couldn't be killed. That would be Irony.

Mary and John end up together... in HELL! after sacrificing themselves to save everyone.

You can't separate peace from freedom because no one can be at peace unless he has his freedom.

I'm not sure about the hell part, but I know that in one way or another Mary/John will end up together.

Since they knew it was over and are giving us a ending, I can also see them killing "the devil" and Mary and John's son comes back somehow.

It ends with John and Mary together with their son and kind of running Salem the way it always should have been.

That's the optimistic side of me talking, but something tells me it won't end that way.

Salem being utterly destroyed, many lives lost. Some people sent to Hell, and a small few getting out and escaping. I hope John Alden and Isaac will survive and escape.

I think its gonna end with the clock striking midnight and a big flash of red and thats it. We won't know who survived or who didn't. It will leave things open in case netflix or someone picks it up or if they want to do a movie or two down the road.

The show's tone has always been fairly dark. I could see them being bold enough to give everyone a bleak ending. But I think we'll see John and Mary retire into the woods to be together. I think they are both sick of war and politics. I can see Isaac running Salem as magistrate and adopting that little girl as his daughter. Anne probably turns back to the light with Cotton's help, and the rest meet a horrific end.

I've seen the finale and it surprised me. Let's just say they all underestimated someone.

The last scene with Cotton was good. I think they left some room for it to be picked up by another network, but I doubt it will be.
