Probe scene
Please spoil this for me. I noticed the messed up probe scene in the trailer. How horrible is it?

Not so horrible, the trailer shows the most part of it.
In detail: the "robot surgeon" shoots a sort of alien bug that slip in the belly button of the guy and with some laser draws in his skin some kind of alien symbol, then the probe scene. Final shot with a full body side view of the guy with the probe that is extracted and the blood splattered out from the bottom.
Unfortunately it's the only scene where is show what kind of experiments the greys were doing at the abducted...The experiment scene in "Fire in the sky" was really more horrible and terrific in my opinion.
So, I'm gonna go out on a limb here and guess that this is not a remake of the Spielberg picture with all the Reese's pieces?

shareI think it was more a joke scene as the same dude was teased by the police officer in the car on whether the aliens did an anal probe on him..and suggested that they would have something of a similar calibre waiting for him back at the police station - probably a finger up the ass to check for drugs since he suspected them of being meth heads lol
Since the anal probed dude had his forearm yacked off by handcuffing if to a tree thinking it would stop his abduction, he was basically a useless piece of meat so it was obvious from that point he would come to a not very pleasant end.
