Not sure if these people were trying to make a comedy or a horror film, but they managed to fail at both ... Absolute rubbish and badly written and directed with some very odd choices of actors that might of been people they picked up off the street quite frankly
shareAgreed. Every other minute throughout the entire movie there was a loud sound and a pathetic attempt at a jump scare followed by someone saying a variation of "Oh my god! What was that?!" I could have made a better alien invasion film with my phone's camera and a pie pan.

It was not all that bad. But I will argue that it was mostly a weak script. Anytime at some point in a film when every other word is the "F-word", IMO it shows a lack of creative writing. And I see it too often in these low budget/direct to video movies. Other than that some of the acting was okay, some good visuals, and great music.
It was only 'wildman' Seth who went overboard with the cussing. With the possible exception of April, who was at the vacation house on business, they were college-aged youths having a celebratory weekend and letting loose, which unexpectedly turned into a life-or-death situation. In both scenarios some cussing is natural and the actors no doubt ad-libbed to be convincing.
