Help! The baby...

There is something that I really need to know - what happened to the little baby that the evil twin sisters pushed down the hill in the pram?? I'm sure it was never mentioned what happened to him and it was annoying me throughout the remainder of the program. Did he die? Was he found? Alive? Were we really not told, because I can't believe they would just leave that out.

In the book the twins wanted the pram so they could ride in it themselves, so they take the pram with the baby in it, and then they take the baby out and leave it on the floor and then they ride in the pram themselves. The baby was found and it was fine.
