Mayor

Who ended up as Mayor at last?

reply

I think mayor lionheart got his job back

reply

Is that in the film?

Take them to the security kitchen!

reply

Is that in the film?

No.

He even admitted he kidnapped them against their will.

I don't think it was mentioned. I'm also 99.99% positive that Lionheart was still in jail at the end of the movie for unlawful confinement and/or kidnapping of the missing mammals.

No the movie doesn't explicitly say that he got his job back, but bellweather admits that she "framed" him right before she's arrested, and then right after that mayor lionheart is shown giving an interview on tv and he says "it was a classic case of doing the wrong thing for the right reason." I think it's possible that he was cleared of any intentional wrongdoing and maybe the public forgave him? That's just my takeaway.

Well, I guess we'll find out in the sequel, and I hope we do. It could lead to an interesting plot where he actually ends up being the main bad guy rather than the phony bad guy that still did something wrong.

Lionheart has potential and I hope Disney doesn't ignore it.

I absolutely hope they do a sequel! this is a great movie for a sequel. I only hope they do it justice bc this movie is so good. I think zootopia has a lot of potential to be an excellent franchise, like toy story.

reply

I agree, as during the credits Lionheart was seen reading a magazine in a prison cell.
