Love The Ending... (Possible Spoiler)
I ain't gonna give away the ending, but I have to say it was very refreshing.
I thought the first 2/3 of the movie was great. It almost lost me near the end with a very weak subplot of Julian and I was almost sure it would end either:
a) Everyone gets killed or dies in jail (typical morality play).
b) There's some twisted 'Godfather' logic where someone gets away with everything.
...instead, it ends kinda like it might in real life. No whimpers or bangs. Sort of like... we had this hurricane... it was rough... we got hurt... and then we made the best of things going forward. No huge drama one way or the other.
That in itself makes it a 7.5 for me.
Very understated acting in all the leads. Very well done.
