Restaurant Scene Reminded Me Of Louie's Restaurant in The Godfather.

shareTotally. The acting in that scene reminded me of the acting in the godfather more than any other scene in the movie as well. It was probably purposeful, and it was very well done.
shareOn the DVD commentary they talked about that place which was near the location shooting. A waiter who had been there 40 years told them the real heating oil dealers used to meet regularly in the backroom (Probably fixing prices and territories).
Another thing mentioned was that at the beginning a truck stops while passing through a toll booth, They said it was the same one used in The Godfather where Sonny is ambushed and shot to death.
