Julian wouldn't have done jail time

I watch enough of these crime shows and read the news to know that Julian wouldn't have been charged with a felony. He threw the gun away. there were no witnesses. I don't know why the attorney didn't tell him to turn himself in and plead to a misdemeanor -- disturbing the peace of something and it would be all over.

It was later revealed that he lied about throwing the gun away and there were witnesses on the bridge. Also never put the world of the movie into our world. It's exists in another universe separate from ours and while it may look similar, it is not 100% the same, so therefore your argument holds no validity.

>People honestly think watching crime shows makes them experts on the law. Top Kek.

You're right about the gun, but at the time the police didn't have the gun. They would have needed to do a search warrant and search his apt.
You're right about crime shows too 😃

It looked like there were a ton of witnesses on the bridge when the shooting took place, and he could be connected with the truck as it's driver. The laws in New York are extremely strict for handgun possession without a permit and even more so having a "shoot out" with that illegal firearm. It's not like shooting a gun off in the Midwest on New Year's Eve where gun laws are much more lax.
