I watched it last night for the first time, not sure what to expect. I'd have to admit it blew me away by the implosive, phenomenal, powerhouse performances by Osacr Isaac and Jessica Chasitain. So many obstacles get in his way,so many things back him up against the wall from Moraels wanting to further his oil delivery business. I don't get why the DA played wonderfully by David Oyelowo seems almost deadest on a "witchhunt", almost border harassment to bring indictments on Moraels, everything I saw from the film, he looks to be following business legit practices, following guidelines, and rules.He didn't know his wife was stealing and he's not behind the carjackings. Was there anything at all in the records, that his wife hid from the search of the house that might be something to say different?

I think he was just responsible for tax evasion maybe, or nothing at all.

But I agree, the best part was the fantastic performances, "powerhouse" is the perfect word.

I loved how charming and persuasive Oscar Isaac was, he was great at manipulating people.

Chastain was phenomenal and could switch from the perfect wife and upstanding woman to a pitbull.
