Best-looking COMPLETELY POINTLESS film that goes absolutely NOWHERE!

This is probably the best-looking COMPLETELY POINTLESS film that goes absolutely NOWHERE that I've ever seen!

The cinematography, editing, costumes, and acting are all excellent.

Everything else, however, is total garbage.

A Most Violent Year is like a gangster film but with every single element[again, other than the cinematography, editing, costumes, and acting] that makes a gangster film interesting & entertaining subtracted out of it.

For those reasons, my eyes were attracted to this film but at the same time, every other part of me was repulsed by it because it is such a colossal bore.

By virtue of making and releasing this film, these filmmakers have accomplished a remarkable act of trolling.

The only other time I've ever seen filmmakers pull off trolling this well was with the film Maggie (2015), which also is a good-looking yet incredibly boring film that goes absolutely nowhere, although instead of pretending to be a gangster film even though it is not, like A Most Violent Year does, Maggie pretends to be a horror film even though in actual fact it is a chick flick.

This trend of good-looking-terrible-films which masquerade as members of genres that they not really part of suggests that the Razzies need a new category of award: best troll film of the year. A Most Violent Year should definitely win the award for best troll film of 2014. Maggie should win for best troll film of 2015.
