'Halo' is a bundle of corny sci-fi cliches wrapped up in nostalgia for late nights spent playing the story campaign of the videogame with friends. Plus, I'm a sucker for the big special effects budgets that TV series command nowadays on this new generation of streamers.

'Halo' is a guilty pleasure for me, just like 'See' over on Apple TV+.

I'm really enjoying it, but the last episode made me sad. I don't like it when shows take the focus off of the main characters for individual episodes. TWD did it in the later seasons and it drove me nuts.
