What about it? Refn has never made a film that has a scene even remotely like the club scene from John Wick.

That can be said about the club scene in Paul Verhoeven's Robocop too. But that doesn't make John Wick a Verhoeven style film. Sorry, but your comparison is at best flimsy and at worst totally off the mark.

The music and all of the stuff you mentioned is far from a Refn film.

I think the atmosphere and lighting in a lot of scenes definitely but the cinematography and editing and tone is way different than Refn's films (Not that refn is bad. But they're really different)
