About this movie, nothing we've seen before, just an average run of the mill action movie

No one said it's "special", it's just good. That's it's charm, that's it uses a throwback formula but in a well-made fashion. Which is why it stood out to people over the CGI farts that pollute modern theaters

I agree. I bought it and watched it and wasn't really impressed. People on the Internet made it a phenomenon so now there's a sequel so we'll see if it's any better
