'Entourage' for athletes....

.....that's all this show is.

What an astute observation

Much like Entourage, I think they're trying to make these guys look a lot more glamorous than they really are. They also cover up a lot of their stupidity. A lot of them are notorious for gambling significant amounts of their wealth away. Sad to say, quite a few of these guys are completely illiterate morons with little math skills. They just can't understand that if they saved their money and lived frugally, that money would last forever, combined with their pension and other endorsement deals.

What's funny is these guys could take such a small fraction of their earnings and let it sit in an index fund for decades and they'd have millions waiting for them in their golden years. Unfortunately they'd rather give the money to some idiot friend of theirs who brings zero value to their life...

WHAT?! OH MY GOD YOU ARE RIGHT!!!!! How did I not see this. Thank you for showing me this amazing revelation. If it were not for your infinite wisdom I would have never seen that the whole selling point from even before the showed aired was that it was Entourage with athletes. We must tell the world.

You're welcome. :)

Someone needs to inform Mark Wahlberg !

(The poor OP must be new to this forum. He had no idea what was coming. )

Yeah, it's the huddle thing at the end of the intro that brands it.
Well, if it works. I'll say the show is well written and really has
not committed to anything plotwise or pointwise ... so far it's just
a bromance, macho soap-opera ....

but "all this show is" ??? come on
