But that's the thing, the NFL usually has a sh•• conniption when they are painted in a negative light, and this show, happily, goes far beyond that point.

this was talked bout recently on some football blogs....apparently the NFL has stayed silent unlike that ESPN show Players which they got pretty much cancelled. It might also be due to the NFL wanting to stay away from helping draw any attention to this show by suing it

In S1 Spencer's CTE was kind of a big deal, then suddenly in S2 his CTE has vanished, but now his health issue is more PC being a hip replacement.

could be but the CTE storyline would be a sad dead end basically resulting in Rock losing his mind and possibly dying.....Don't think this show's concept is really meant to be setup for that kind of story line.
shareehh many NFL guys have been like Manziel he was not the first. The Travis guy could be Boz, Jamarcus, Manziel, Ryan Leaf, that one roided up olinemen that Packers picked years ago.
Since he's a good ol boy from the Everglades could up being Jonathan Martin or Riley Cooper. That would be an interesting arc.
