A posse of former bullied geeks are writing this show. They have taken the stereotypical dumb jock and run with it. Absolutely everyone on this show who makes/made a living stringing up their cleats is stupid.

Spencer is crazy to borrow money from his clients. He doesn't have a financial background or even a natural business acumen. Dumb, dumb to think you can just hop into the driver seat of an established company and think you can grow someone's money when you lost yours.

Ricky is stupid for giving Spencer anything. Who gives your financial advisor money to start his own company. That's like having unprotected sex with a prostitute AFTER she's told you she has HIV. And he should stop listening to his old man who's a dummy as well.

Vernon has the I.Q. of a five year old. He pays his friend a salary and he's a dummy to give Spence anything when he's short on funds without a guaranteed contract.

Charles He's the only one with a semblance of sense but of course, his new job revolves around football so it's a no-brainer.

Travis comes off like a backwater hick who refuses to go to the most important meet-up of NFL scouting because he's dyslexic. I'm confused by this because I assumed potential players are only interviewed and asked to comment on their decisions during key plays from game reels.
