No comments two hours after the season finale?
How is this show coming back next year? Never thought Vice Principals would smoke this show on the IMDB boards...

shareJust because IMDB boards aren't lighting up doesn't mean people are not interested in a show or that it isn't doing well.
Also it is NFL season now and a lot of people are out watching the Sunday night games. Just a guess on the Football season theory.
THERES NO ROOM IN MY CIRCUS TENT FOR YOU !!!!
It just ended on the West Coast. YOu'll probably see more comments.
Not very impressed w/ the finale. Spence admitted to us what we already know about him and the show.
I liked the finale. Season 2 has pretty much sucked, but I was pleasantly surprised that everything didn't work out perfectly, tied together with a big ribbon during the finale. Just judging by how the show usually goes, I figured Eddie would back Spencer after about 5 minutes, Spencer would get registered, and then they would share a beer together. This show is usually so breezy and quick to solve any problems that the characters might have, that it shocked me that it ended on a down note.
shareIt was a pretty crummy finale.
"Hey Spence, I am not selling ASM to you anymore."
"What? YOU JERK!"
"No, i want to hire you back. I shouldn't have fired you."
"Oh. Okay. It is all good."
What the hell was that?
"Luke Skywalker has vanished."
I enjoyed the finale and this season. Was surprised to see everything end on a down note, but that speech was a great moment in the show, and going forward, well, looks like things are wide open.

That speech was ridiculous. Who in their right mind would let someone in the condition that Spencer was head out and address the Rookies officially like that?
And what kind of stripper-raked Spencer's neck so bad that it was STILL BLEEDING?
"Luke Skywalker has vanished."
I agree. The speech was cringe-worthy.
IMO, It was the absolute low-point in the entire series.
- Up there with a speeding Ferrari not getting chased by cops, a pudgy Travis doing under 4.6 in the sand, and two separate Football players having 5 million just sitting in their checking accounts.
I still really enjoy the show, though. I'm not exactly sure why. (except for that "speech" scene. That was painful)
Ballers has been picked up by HBO for a third season. The renewal of the sports comedy-drama comes of little surprise, considering how it has remained one of HBO’s top-rated programs. The Season 2’s premiere episode recorded a 0.79 rating from the 18-49 demo or 1.587 million viewers. On average, Season 2 got a 0.57 rating or 1.188 million views per episode.share
I wouldn't think the majority of people that watch this show would be hanging around on internet message boards....just an observation
shareIt's a show about football. I doubt it has a huge nerd fanbase.
