he was playing himself. and his real life self - broke and angry. not that hard to do. it wasn't exactly Shakespeare.
He has been up and down after football, but he is not broke. Leonard Malten actually commented once on playing yourself not being all that easy.
George is actually in in the play Chicago on Broadway, which is pretty challenging. My guess is he can act.
