Am I confused? Did they say 1.5 million? Per year? I know New England likes to not overpay its people unless their name is Tom Brady or Rob Gronkowski, but even still, that's nothin. Or was it because they wanted him to take it for the chance at a Championship? Or am I just misunderstanding?
shareIt does seem very low but I guess they think he needs/wants them more than they need/want him. He has a good chance for a Super Bowl ring and a shot at the Hall of Fame.
shareEven if that was the case, the chance to win the super bowl, he's worth way more than that. For 3 years he'll have to cut down living expenses tremendously. I would think 7 mil per year is a better deal
