A half-masterpiece [spoilers]

Hello everyone, I have to say it, I don't speak English wel enough so I apologize in advance, in my own language these things are not discussed that much.

Well, I've seen this movie on netflix, the truth is that I've already seen it about 5 times. And every now and then, I see it again. From my point of view it is a sublime, extraordinary movie, one of the best I've ever seen.

I have seen many movies and because of this nothing affects me any more, as if I have already seen everything... This is not the case, in a few movies I feel as immersed with the protagonist as it happens in this one.

The tension of the first minutes is absolutely fantastic, the fear running through my mind is unsustainable. I put myself in the sking of those poor people and It really scares the sh*t out of me. He lose his job, then he loses everything, his pride, his dignity, his home.

Then there is a chance to work for the same person who was responsible for evicting him, and over time he becomes the same kind of person, performing actions outside the law. There is no justification, of course, but in the past he did absolutely everything right and he was left with nothing. So what would you do instead?

In short, a perfect movie the first 3/4 parts. The last part is the one that prevents me from saying that this is a masterpiece. The family finally discovers what he has been doing and just... abandon him? He didn't do everything he did to impress some girl, or to be popular, or to be a millionaire. He did what he did,he broke the law, to SAVE HIS FAMILY.

An old game that I have played states: the world is a very complex place, sometimes you have to hurt others to protect the people you love. He had no alternative, he had to do what he did. It seems completely absurd to me that the family leaves him. A real family, would have spoken to him and would have sought a way out. A real family would NEVER have abandoned the person who gave ABSOLUTELY EVERYTHING, even his ethics and morals, to help them recover what it was from theirs.

Fantastic, absolutely fantastic movie with an incredible performance from Michael Shannon and Andrew Garfield. But with a sad and absurd ending.
