The Unknown Caller

This episode aired on 06/14/2015, and even though it was meant to be scary; I couldn't help but laughed. A girl living in a house where a man committed murder, experienced poltergeist haunting of his crime even though he is still alive and in prison. His poltergeist actually texted her and ordered her roses and delivered them himself to her house and spoke to her. The poltergeist also managed to make a video of her death to show her on the computer and only she can see it. I really believe that this lady probably experienced something in the house, but to exaggerate the story to make it scarier is just ridiculous.

I feel the same way, it was just ridiculous how does a poltergeist order and pay for flowers? How does it text or take videos on a non existent phone, or how does it generate a video on her laptop? I personally don't believe the answer they suggested at all , a haunting caused by an inmate's pent up anger, I found it utterly ridiculous for too many reasons to name. The episode was creepy and thrilling but it's downfall was its ludicrous explaination.

I like it, and the episodes are scary, but they need to be more up front about the shows being completely made up. They say that the shows are inspired by true events but I've tried to Google similar stories, but found nothing. Most of the time when I see "inspired by a true story" I'm able to find the background story it was inspired by. I've found nothing on each episode I've watched leading me to believe that these are nothing short of well written scary episodes made to look like a documentary type show. 7 for creativity, 3 for deception. Lol

Agree. The show is terribly fake but the stories are scary and fun to watch.

The boyfriend probably ordered the flowers and sent the texts. He said he didn't, but obviously he's lying. She saw a second phone with him one time that she had never seen before.

On the other hand, spirits do all kinds of things we can't possibly explain: scratch us, throw us across the room, make things move. Is it really impossible to believe it could do other things?

Poltergeists are generally attributed to living people. What's unusual about the story is that the living person in question is no longer living at the house, but is in another location. However, in folklore, this is known as spirit travel, soul flight, or astral projection, among other things, and is an ability commonly attributed to Siberian and prehistoric shamans. It looks as though they combined poltergeist folklore with shamanic folklore for their antagonist in this one.
