Aw man! :(

A commercial for the company Loan Me just came on TV and I was immediately struck by the man in the commercial with blue eyes and a reddish brown beard and hair who looked SO familiar--I thought, where have I recently seen him? Sadly, this was "Dan" from the episode "Family Grave" I had just watched two days ago--and no, not the reenactment actor--the real guy! Perhaps I was just very naive, but it's hugely disappointing to know this show is clearly using actors standing in for the supposedly "real" people telling their stories. If they are not really the real people who experienced these hauntings, then it's not too much of a leap to deduce the stories are not for real either.

Doesn't surprise me. One, I had heard shows like this at least sometimes use actors to portray the "real" interviewees and also makes you wonder if the stories are even real. Two, I thought that guy was the least realistic I'd seen. He seemed to be reciting lines written for a part. It made me think this can't be the actual guy. Funny you posted this because that's what I was thinking when I watched it a few days ago.

This show is totally fake.
Enjoyable to watch, and scary at times, so I'm not completely knocking it.
I tried to research a couple of the true "stories" online and came up with a bunch of NOTHING.

Out of all the interviewees, Dan seemed the least credible or authentic, the way he spoke and gestured was too rehearsed. It would be a real shame if they were all actors, I almost hate myself for liking this show.

"Awwww man!" Is exactly what I thought when I read this. Not that I didn't think it was maybe overdramatized for effect, but to know they're ALL probably actors....well, blech.
