The Camp & Leviathan

Regarding the Leviathan segment the ex-husband claims he built the house himself "with his own bare hands." This makes me believe that they are the first owners of this home.

How could there have been an attempted murder previously at this location? Here is where I begin to doubt the authenticity of these stories. Imagine my disappointment.

What attempted murder? The guy had murdered a woman a mile down the road. Her body was still there at that location. The dog belonged to her and had gotten away.

This makes even less sense. It is implied that the woman lived in this house. Why else would her ghost haunt this location? If not, then why did the dog go to this house??

Why would the killer/psycho/rapist continue to stalk this house???

It wasn't implied that she lived there. She was held captive and then killed but the dog got away from the killer. He spotted the main character of the story with the dog and became fixated on her. The murdered woman's spirit followed her dog. That's why sometimes it seemed like the dog was playing with someone, he was, his previous owner. At the end she says the spirit is still there, but it's not bothering her.

Good answer. Probably not a true story in any case.

You know murders can take place on land where houses are built. Or it's also possible another house stood there and was torn down or something before he built his house. Not hard to figure out.
