I wouldn't go quite that far, but I really enjoyed it. The dialogue was very well written and theatrical which I thought was good. The plot twists were unexpected but very well executed without derailing the narrative, and I appreciated that it steered clear of genre cliches. Overall, a very good film and one of Baumbach's better films. I would definitely recommend it.
shareThis was a great film. I saw the trailer and was looking forward to it, but it defied all expectations.
My only background with Baumbach is Life Aquatic and While We're Young, but this one had great dialogue.
Its definitely a contender for my top ten this year.
Needed more Captain America and less Mistress America.
