shareI went at 16:20 on 19/08/2015 to Sheffield Cineworld. It was showing on the small screen 19. There was probably a couple of dozen people there, which was surprisingly many for that time of day especially - perhaps due to Orange Wednesday? Can't really judge the reaction of the audience as I was concentrating on the film, there was a few laughs; I even laughed myself even though the film wasn't great. Perhaps I'm the wrong demographic being a 30-something male. It reminded me of a Woody Allen film (I'm not a fan of his work) and at times more of a play than a film with the very fake, over the top dialogue and unbelievable characters.
shareSaw it today at 4:15. About 40% full.
Trailers:
About Ray
Grandma
He Named Me Malala
Audience laughed at some lines. I thought it was very good. Not brilliant, but a very thoughtful and fun independent film. Definitely better than While We're Young, Noah Baumbach's earlier film from this year.
Went to a 9:15 Saturday showing, everything but the first row was full, though it was a smaller theatre.
Trailers-
Goodnight Mommy
The End of the Tour
Straight Outta Compton
Room
People seemed to really like it, laughed at pretty much every joke. I was expecting applause, but it didn't happen.

Went on a friday night around 7:45. Vancouver. Around 60 percent full
Trailers- Freeheld, By the sea, He named me Malala and one more movie which I can't recall
The movie didn't quite have the perfection Frances Ha did, but it was still enjoyable. The movie did manage to get some laughs. There were couple of people few rows behind me who were laughing at just about every line. At least half of the movie (the middle half) is like a funny play and is shot inside a single house and is entirely dialogue driven
