No DVD version at all?

So is this movie being released exclusively in the Blu-Ray format and not on DVD at all? Not even in a combo pack? That's a lousy thing to do to people who want to buy it.

That is frustrating. I suppose maybe from a business perspective it might make sense, but you're right, for those who don't have access to a Blu-Ray player, it's a puzzling move.

We're living in the year 2015. A blu ray player can be purchased for 50 bucks. No reason to not have access to one.

Here in the UK, it seems there is not even a Blu Ray version planned. According to the BBFC website it's only been cleared for a VoD release. Is this a sign of things to come?

reply

Yeah, I wondered that too. I thought maybe they would do a DVD/Blu-Ray combo, but I guess I gotta buy the Blu-Ray.

reply

I rented the DVD through Netflix (regular, not Blu-Ray).

reply

I got it from my library. Zero extras on the DVD.

reply

I rented it from Redbox, and it was in DVD format. No blu-ray option even available.
