Unusually, my wife and gave up on this film.
A Friday night, we were both in, so I thought I would earn some brownie points by agreeing to watch this film.
My assumptions were that it was a chick flick, but it had some good reviews, and so would be bearable.
15 mins in and I looked at my wife; we both had exactly the same thoughts! Neither of us could understand a word of the dialogue; a fault of the soundtrack, I think, rather than the actresses.
I'll read up about the plot I missed another time.

First of all-- nice of you to sit with the wife and even start to watch a "Chick Flick." My hubby vacates to the bedroom to watch baseball when I start to watch these movies.

This film was such a disappointment. The only good thing about it was Lola Kirke, who is a lovely actress. For all the movie had to recommend it-- it just fell flat on its face.

Re- the soundtrack-- I have probably with a lot of mumbling in movies these days-- just click on the closed captioning. Just for what its worth....
