It sounds like a wonderful character piece that delves into interpersonal and intrapersonal relationships. This looks like it will be a legitimately good film, and something interesting. There are plenty of other action-filled substanceless blockbusters coming out this summer (maybe Transformers 4 will be more your taste) if you can't appreciate good filmmaking.

Zach Braff isn't good filmmaking. It's tolerable filmmaking at best. If you put Transformers 4 at one end of the artistic spectrum, then, more accurately, Fellini or Kubrik would be at the other end. Not Zach Braff. He'd be squarely in the middle.

I have very high hopes for this movie. Braff is a pretty talented writer and brings something different and abstract to the table.
This looks less boring than Godzilla.
Being one of the gullible many who put a few bucks into this film, I was also 'lucky' enough to watch an online screener at the weekend and I can confirm, yes, it is as boring as it sounds.
At the time of writing it has a 7.4 score. That's from the festival snobs and those who feel this is something special by giving up their hard earned to help ZB make his 'vision'. When this goes on official release, just watch those numbers drop!
