A thank you to the haters

The haters are out in full force on the IMDB boards for this one.

I have nearly worn out my 'ignore user' button. I have also filed so many reports with IMDB for hateful, racist, libelous content that I lost count. No, you cannot draw pictures of you shooting someone with the word "Fagghet" written next to their name, and expect IMDB to allow it to stay posted and expect nobody will report you. Also, to our neo-nazi friends, you probably should just stop saying bad things about Jews in public forums, because at this point, we've all studied the holocaust and lost family members in WWII and we don't like your contributions.

Lastly, I have seen many, many people hate Zach Braff for raising money to make a product. Some have called him 'immoral' or 'dishonest' for doing what most normal, ordinary people ca'' "fundraising". Fundraising and sales is vital to every business endeavor known to mankind. I don't know what people do in life that they have no understanding of the concept of fundraising. Maybe they poop out gold bricks, wash them off, take them to the bank, and then go grocery shopping on their golden poop money. Most people have to ask people for money, whether you are a waiter or a CEO, you have customers and asking them for money is the whole purpose of your buseesnn

Now. I have been a bit harsh on the haters. You may be wondering, how does any of this relate to a 'thank you' to these haters? You see, I kind of have a low opinion of myself. I think I am a bit too negative, too cynical, to 'seen it all', too disaffected, blaze, arrogant.

No, my friends, no. Never in a million years would it even have occured to me to literally wish death on someone for simply raising funds to work on a project.

So thank you. I now have objective, incontrovertible proof that I am Not, in fact, the most cynical, hate filled, anthrophobic individual on the planet. There is, after all, you. Who hate someone you have never met, because he did something.
