Wish I didn't watch!! Spoilers

I truly wish I hadn't watched this movie. I am a big fan of ZB's work, but this one is way off the mark. I feel sorry for all the people who supported it on kickstarter.

These are my 3 biggest problems with this movie:

1. We're supposed to root for the lead character who has 2 kids and can't even send them to school without his father's help? Why would you have 2 kids without a stable job and no clue of what you want to do with your life?

2. The brother character, is a bigger loser than the lead character and he is angry with his father because his father is disappointed in him for being a failure(which he is)? BTW, its another joke that his father is proud of him in the end for winning a contest at comic con, which he did just so he may get some pu**y?

3. The sexual harassment guy(Keny the cop for Garden State) part of the movie is completely ridiculous. Every company these days takes sexual harassment very seriously. The whole thing was a pathetic attempt to save the lead character by giving him the opportunity to defend the honor of his wife.

There's a reason why the studios wouldn't fund the movie. It's sad he had to use kickstarter. He's done more harm than good.

Agree with you on all 3 points.
Also thr film would have benefited from some tighter editing. Some scenes just went on way too long

You know, the weird thing about this movie is that I think I've already watched it once already, several months ago. But, while some scenes and settings look familiar, I simply can't remember anything overall about the movie. And, as I watch it again, I can see why I probably immediately forgot this movie ten minutes after I watched it.

It's just boring as all heck. I'm not even going to finish watching it this time.

That's what losers do: Blame everyone else but themselves.

GABE spent most of the movie insulting AIDEN (and his family at times), but he kept being nice to him. At the end, GABE finally realized what's important. He knew he would die any second, so he wanted his last words to his sons to be nice.

He failed to defend her honor. And she told him not to do it. I think it was just an exageratedly funny version of a real-life situation.

1. Maybe at the time he was starting his family he had just gotten a big commercial and believed it was the start of a huge career. The script hints at that I believe.

2. The father says that at the end because he wants to leave him with a positive memory.

3. You wish every company takes harassment very seriously. But in reality, as Uber and others have shown, it's still not the case.
