How did Tucker know that the guy on the store near the end was Sarah's workmate? Did I miss something there? When could he have possibly seen him?
shareI assumed that Sarah had pointed him out to Tucker and her daughter when they were out and about at some earlier point not shown in the film. Didn't hurt my brain or ruin the movie for me. Considering that Braff's character was dealing with auditions and a health crisis with his father, I just assumed that Sarah was having to assume his parenting duties a little more. I didn't feel that it was a plot hole or lazy writing.
shareI thought that was problematic too. Way too convenient. And mostly because it was unnecessary. It should have just been a part of the backstory that Aidan had met the guy once before, so he knew what the jerk looked like. Then he's the one who spots him in the store, rather than the kid.
