no wonder this movie bombed--its like a really bad home movie of a really boring family, not to mention depressing, with the hospital scenes, scenes of the depressing desert, over-acting when her hair was cut, not funny

I suggest you stick to blockbuster movies where everything goes boom and *beep* This film was very well done.
Kate looks just fine at her age IMO.... not that that should be the determining factor of enjoyment in a movie. Besides, there's still eye candy with Ashley Greene. I don't think many here would argue the opposite regarding Josh Gad, but again, how is this the basis for a movie bombing?
