What was Zed's "sin"?

This question contains massive SPOILERS

As the title says, I'm wondering what Zed (the only one of the French group who survived along with the main characters) had done wrong. I know there's a scene near the end where he mentions it briefly, but I didn't hear it properly.

He has a child that he's never seen and that he refuses to acknowledge as his own.

I was wondering more about Souxie. They never delved into her backstory at all, and there must have been some "sin" because she did not make it out. Any theories?

Considering the mole guy(Who died 2 years ago) said "You didn't even look for me" and later on he killed her and disappeared... Maybe that was the guilt she felt? Maybe that was her "sin"? dunno...

She felt guilty that the one guy (who killed her) went missing and she never tried to find or help him. Thus why he's the one to kill her (ironically, when she tries to help him. Sorta fitting with the whole hell thing)
