Recently I just got Ride Along 2 for DVD from a family member when they were out shopping at Walmart.
Ive never seen the first Ride Along movie and I was wondering if the first one is any good?
Sadly, no. The first film was just a stale tiring cliched buddy cop movie we've seen dozens of times. Kevin Hart and Ice Cube had some decent chemistry and the beginning was promising, but the rest of the movie sucks. Nothing but typical scattershot humor with no subtlety. Even that doesn't make the sequel any better since it suffers the same problems as the previous one.
