Fish out of Water stories never end well with Sequels

The first ride along was funny, at least too me. The whole fish out of water thing works and in the original putting a short mouthy type (hart) with a rugged street type (cube) worked and the comedy that played was worth a giggle.

When you try to do a sequel they never pan out well. It seems this was trying so hard to be the first film but every time, you could see in the trailers, everyone knew they were in a sequel.

Not saying it is a bad thing, but never a good thing. I think Cube and Hart work good together, but trying to recreate the magic of the first film was lost in translation.

They should find them something else to work on, not another Ride Along.
