I don't mean the content. The film is literally so dark you are seeing them as shadows most of the time. I guess it's supposed to be artistic, but it is just annoying.

It really wasn't though.

Not even sure what you are talking about. Perhaps it's your equipment.

Yeah, OP should adjust the TV display settings.
