Wouldn't Aquaman have won easily?

Maybe I'm forgetting something. Despite Aquaman being the butt of many jokes, he controls most of the planet because most of the world's surface is water. You'd think he'd have countless legions of armies and sea life able to wipe out one lone island of Amazons.

Still my favorite JUSTICE LEAGUE film, though.

Amazons are more skilled and more powerful though. Besides there a thousand of amazons.

I suppose that's the real reason they lasted so long. Unless it happened in the comics, I'm surprised no one's made a big deal about the Amazons before. You'd think countries would be building weapons just out of fear.

Besides there a thousand of amazons.

As opposed to countless other life forms, though.

That's why the Amazonians conquered england and raised it several miles above sea level.

Aquamans control over the water is not a power but a title. Yeah he's king of the seas as long as Atlantis allows him to be King. He can't actually control the water like Mera or Aqualad.

Atlantis is also not that big in comparison to the surface world. He's got like Irans military size but possesses very powerful weapons.

Sea life? Aquamans range and number has a limit and the obvious problem is that sea life won't fare to well on land. So he could control a few sharks but they are useless in the middle of a surface city.

Another thing is that the Amazons have magic, just like Aquaman. He wiped out western Europe but the Amazon fortress in England remained untouched.
